What Casino Royale should have been
All the pages in Hecht’s papers are gripping, but the material from April 1964 is phenomenal, and it’s easy to imagine it as the basis for a classic Bond adventure.
The modern interpretation featuring Daniel Craig is outstanding, but this makes one wonder what might’ve been. Shame it never saw the light of day.
